Was Transferred, Called as a Zone Leader

Hey Family and Friends

Well, my week was super busy preparing with more focus those who were Baptized on Saturday.   We had 7 children of God make covenants.  One I'm excited for out of all is Nancy Kenedee, she has waited for a long time,  the past 7 months to get a marriage certificate so she can be baptized.   Finally the week of her baptism, everything was finished, a true Miracle and she was able to receive a Remission of her sins. So Transfer news has taken me from my home in Kakata, I am NOW a Zone Leader with Elder Pearmain one of my own MTC companions, its so sweet.  We are great friends and are excited to have this chance to work together.   I really do miss Kakata, its a different place, the people are way different and yeah I will be forever grateful to God for  being merciful and sending me to Kakata to learn and become better as a missionary and servant of the Lord, my companion Elder Marondera will finish his mission in Kakata which is very good for him, Elder Elliott went to a place called Matadi as a Zone leader. Well I am doing great and the mission is sweet.  I stayed the night in the mission office last night, we left from Kakata right after church, took photos, wasted water from my eyes, and said goodbye.  I went proselyting with the APs the rest of the afternoon, they have some great Investigators, and the night was good.   This morning I watched priesthood session and the one where Elder Holland talks in it about man making God in his own Image, for my personal study.  Kaitlin is getting married on Thursday,  that's super duper, excited for that, cant believe that is already happening.   Glad the scout camp went well, those are the best I really miss those times.  Benton looks older thats a good thing, what boots is he wearing, Ariat?  They are nice though and the phone looks new? lol, Ivy you look like a beautiful daughter of our heavenly father, and mom you still look 21 :) and dad looks strong still.   I want that same pack benton has, I always wanted that one, looks like a true shed hunter nice photo I am jealous super bad, keep it up stud, are those the same one he found or new ones? Oh so whats happening with the church at home anything sweet? Well kinda a short email sorry try to get a bigger one next week, love you all Love Elder Erickson

i love that Spirit mom thank you,today am happy i just hear d from my bro from the bush,he is real making me proud and his son is in my zone,well our investigates doing real well i have help them to read the book of Mormon each day from the 1st chapter well there are real responding well.

next week looking forward for baptism sorry conversion that sound sweet cues we don't bath people but change them lol.

thank you for sharing what you learn i will forward this to my mom and other sisters in my ward back home and print some for here in my branch this is a profound lessons.

Easter Testimony

Hey family
Had a real busy week, well more busy than most, I'm always busy!, and
that's a good thing. Sunday was great, had 15 investigators in church.
We have dropped a lot of people, and we are just trying to continue
the work of the lord. We love those who we have dropped but we teach
those who are willing to repent of their sins having faith in Jesus
Christ, working towards receiving a remission of Sins and Enduring to
the End. I love teaching people, I hate lies and Excuses, but I love
those who Keep the Lords Commitments. On Friday I went on Exchange
with Elder Elliott, my Trainer when I came on my mission, never thought
that would happen, it was great. I went on his side of Kakata for the
First Time. He has great Investigators, also it was good to see how
much my father has Changed in his Teaching. We had 6 investigators Get
interviewed on Saturday, saw only a few people that day and spent the
rest getting our investigators Interviewed. Interviews with President
didn't work out this past week, but this week he will come.  Our normal
Interviews with president were Great it was good to talk with
President Kirkham also to see what I can learn, and to have Questions
Answered, President didn't know how long I would be here in Kakata. My
companion Elder Marondera goes home July 19th so he will most likely
die in Kakata. Transfers are on Monday and we should get news on
Saturday or Sunday, I'm not sure what will happen. I want to stay, only
two transfers in Kakata is not enough for me, but its not my will.  I am
here to learn to bring my will with the Lords.  So what ever happens
its Divine Revelation From God and I have been called by the Lord to
be his Witness in the World. Where ever I go I will do my best to be
that Witness for others. I Really love these People and I am Not ready
to go, I really gain more love for others as I continue in this
mission, and it gets harder and harder every time I go! It was good to
see the Berretts, Love that Couple so much, they are a great strength
to us all and they are some very powerful teachers! This week was
wonderful though, Sunday evening we spent time at President Harmons
House, he had a Open house, they just moved into their new home, its
beautiful and they are truly blessed.  I enjoyed looking up into the
clouds that day as the sun went down and just had the most precious
Feeling come over me, started to thing of all the Beautiful things
that Jesus Christ has Created with His hands, and than the realization
that this man or shall I say God laid his life down for us so that we
may also have the opportunity to become a joint heir with him and to
gain Exaltaion and to live in happiness for ever and ever. 
I want to bear my testimony as a witness of the lord Jesus Christ, That He
Lives, he is the Chief Cornerstone of his kingdom on the Earth, He has
Conquered Death by Resurrection. I know that He is the Son of God the
Only Begotten of the Father, I know He loves each of us Very much, I
know that he Communes with his Living Prophets, he Directs His Church
with Imperfect men, who are Witnesses of the Risen Lord throughout all
the World. I know that Jesus is the Christ, He is the only name under
the Heavens where by, men and women can be saved in the Kingdom of
GOD, to gain an inheritance in the Celestial Kingdom, I am a Disciple
of Jesus Christ, The Son of God, I have been given authority of him to
be a witness and to teach his Truth to all the Children of men. I am
pray that we will live our lives, by following the Example of the
Risen Lord in all our doings, and i promise if we do this we will
receive happiness beyond measure, in the Sacred name of Jesus Christ

Kakata is Great

Family and Friends
Hey everyone had a great week been sunny and have had two big rain
storms, its nice I love the rain and it really cools things off plus
all the dead plants magically come to life and get super green. We
achieved our goal in member presents this week, it was great to get our
members out working with us, they become better in the Gospel
knowledge and better missionaries.  I was looking at our branch on
Sunday, the people we have inside are branch builders, almost all the
youth are future missionaries and we have a lot of adults. Almost all of them
know how to teach and they have a family, which is great cause they will
help the branch get to where it needs to be when we get a stake here.
Probably at the end of the Year. We also had a branch Fireside, it
turned out really well, we were able t meet some high ranking
officials that are now investigating the Church. It will be good to
get the public to view the church this way so that people will know
the only True Church. We are still working for a big baptism day on
the 26th of April, one investigator has Gotten her marriage stuff all
figured out and is ready to be baptized just need to get an interview done.
Also for 11 other people I hope they all make it in their interview at
the end of this week. I know if they are ready they will pass the
interview and will be able to make that covenant with God the Eternal
Father and his son Jesus Christ. We had a lot of fun teaching people
this week, and are looking forward to this coming week.  Mom zone
meeting was great, also I went on Exchange with Elder Skouson it was
nice to teach with another white guy but I felt weird at the same time
everyone looked at us weird all day hahaha. We have 33 people with
baptismal dates, which is great! Mom I got my new Scriptures,thank you
so much, I am really scared to even write in them, I will get over it
eventually, I have marked one scripture, that is Alma 26:22 great
scripture I love it. Congrats to Tate on the mission call that's so
sweet, wow 3 people I know well in the same mission tha'ts cool, they
will enjoy and change greatly. Mom I need Corbin Lees Email? Oh it was
cold this morning I had to wear my hoodie to stay warm. All is well I
am healthy and keep it chill, Kakata is great.  Transfers are coming in
two weeks we will see what happens, also interview with President on
Wednesday should be great. Sounds like the snow is making everyone
happy, haha sure wouldn't mind some, but the suns great too, cant
complain I'm still here to live another day :)........ Well hope
Everyone remembers Christ this week and Not just for the Death but the
Resurrection, that death will not grip us eternally, but that we might
be exalted on high with our Eldest Brother and become a Joint heir
with him over many things. I love the Savior and am grateful for his
love towards me, also for his love towards my investigators he helps
in everything big and small, Jesus Christ is Real and Lives. Love

Feeling Great!

HEY Family and Friends
Another week is history and the next one will be a mystery, but with
faith in the Lord Jesus Christ its going to be a great week either
way!  Yeah,  its starting to rain here rainy season is just beginning,
my last one on mission kinda crazy, all is well I am healthy, we work
out every morning as a district and my body is feeling really strong
in side and out, nothing is giving me a hard time.  We had a great week
though, we were able to teach a lot of our recent Converts and also
able to have great Member Present lessons. Mom I. didnt receive my Gs
or the Scriptures yet but tomorrow I will get one package, its at the
mission office the couple will bring it and the Elder From Harbel for
Zone meeting. I will  go on Exchange with Elder Skouson from Las Vegas, he
is a great friend and a really good missionary and I am excited to learn
from him.  Sounds like New Orleans is a crazy place but it sounds like
it has gone great, I  am glad that you guys made it there safely, oh
and yes I am coming to Tennessee nxt year with you all.  Yeah the
members here got to watch Conference here Live for the First time ever
so thats cool, but we are too far in the bush that we weren't able to
witness it, but we hear  that Elder Holland had a great talk.
Chastisment at its finest and we all need it, if we cant handle a
small chastening than we dont belong in the kingdom of God.  Next
Conference I hope I am able to watch it live too, we will see,
eventually we will get the dish for the Branch. Yeah transfers ends on
the 28, 3 more weeks we are working hard just in case one of us leaves
but I don't feel like we will, but I think the other elders will have
some changes.  I am excited to talk to you in may too, comming up

to fast, got to find things to talk about in time.  It's  such a huge
miracle mom, we get to  see miracle's happen all the time, even on
sunday, it was great to see our investigators to the church, we are
planning for a huge baptism on the 26 of this month.  One of
our Investigators who has been working on getting a legal marriage
certificate has finally got one, now she can baptize, it will be a
great day and i am jumping out of my bones for it to happen.  Elijah
Congrats on the Mission call, Glad to see that you have listened to
the Prophetic call to serve.   God will Bless you greatly that the dews
of heaven will drip upon you.  Read the Book of Mormon and prepare your
best, the time to leave will come super fast, thats sweet, proud of you
cuz!  Hey mom if thats the same mission as Corbin that will be sweet,
but could you get that guys email for me so I can talk to him, I think
that is his mission positive thats it. Ken McDonald  got a call oh
snap thats so sweet aww glad my friends are listening to the enticings
from the spirit and serving God.  All is well everyone just remember to
believe Christ and that he can do all things. I Love you all. love
