Good morning Family
This week was great at the end of the week I received yet again another
companion and my branch missionary went to another elder in the area, my
New companion is Elder Obeng-Poku from Ghana Kumasii. He is great he has
only been here for 4 weeks and President told me that I am going to
finish his training so the next 8 weeks I will be with him helping him
grow into an effective missionary. It hasn't been easy to have different
Companions so much, 3 companions in 6 weeks I think that is a first. I
have grown so much from each and everyone of my Companions, things
that are Priceless and I am grateful for this growth that the lord has given
me through Challenges, and I love a challenge. This week we had 4
investigators to church, and it was great. Brother Steven will be Baptize
this coming Saturday, he is such a great Miracle. I am so glad that we
found him, soon he will make a big step in life for eternity. I am
healthy mother :) we have been eating spaghetti and stuff like that, the
past 2 weeks so no rice woohoo :) Rice isn't to bad but just getting a
break from it is nice. Elder Zaugg and I have been working out lately and it
feels good to lift weights and get a good sweat going, especially to
start working off our rice lines. We have been sharing Miracles every
night as an apartment and its been so great to be Miracle minded while
we are in our area. A sweet miracle that happened for me and my
Companion this week was, we were in a part of our area that we don't
really go to, we walked passed a old woman selling rice on the street
and my companion and I just stopped and looked at each other, and I
said," I just had a feeling to go teach this woman who is selling," he
said," me too". We both turned around and walked back to where she
was, we introduced our selves and she, out of nowhere started to say my
people my people, we said," what do you mean, I knew God had a true
Church, I one day would be able to meet his Missionaries, she than went
into her house and came back our with an old ensign OLD and then showed
us a picture of some missionaries she told us that she wasn't a member
but that God told her that this is where she needs to be and baptized in.
Wow the spirit was so powerful, we taught her The Restoration, and she
accepted a Baptismal Date at the end of this month :). Miracles I love
them so much, we had many more thats one of my favorites. Glad to hear Benton and Jason are able to hit a deer after 10 Shots one day it will only take one shot maybe if they are lucky, Glad that Benton Enjoyed his Birthday, and his "Dinner" Probably deer Roast if i guessed Right? Thats great that you went to the Temple, i love that Place more than any other in this world. Today we are going to The beach to Play Football and to get some sun which is Plenty plenty now here in L.I.B. thank you for the email I love you all so very very much and hope that your day goes great and so does the week. Remember that we are Gods children and if we are Obedient to his Commandments BIG or small we will be Blessed insurmountably, Love Elder Erickson
