Happy Fourth of July!

June 30, 2014

Hey Everyone
Hey how are you guys? Sounds like OK went well, I am jealous you have gotten to see Anna, geez that's so sweet I hope you all enjoyed, and I know that you did.   So I dont forget to put it in later, HAPPY 4TH of JULY, dont blow your selves up...... Benton........ anyways this week went well  it was a busy week.   Which was just preparing me for this week which is full of meetings, my companion and I will go to the hospital tomorrow  so he can get his ingrown toe fixed, it looks awful.  Sure hope his mother doesn't read this!  I told Elder Pearmain to call about it, but we ended up being called about it and  now things will get figured out for him.... We had a great week none the less.   I went to the dentist on tuesday and yeah the first dentist I went to on mission was not easy, but with God and his good will, we were able to find the best dentist, I would have to say in Liberia.   He did an excellent Job.   I felt like I was in America,  yeah I had a narly cavity, it sucked haha but we were able to get that fixed.   I thank the ELWA hospital for their talent and dedication...  So USA should have beat Germany, I was disappointed.  That's what happens when you get on your heels they need to keep on their Toes and they will do great things.  Thank goodness for the new US soccer Coach who is German and knows how to play Football.. So yeah I keep tabs on world cup my best, but not to much to get distracted from my purpose here in Liberia..  Benedict was baptized, Wow saturday was great,  he ended up coming right when we started cause he had been washing his clothing, he ran 2 miles from his home to make it for the baptism, it was magical.   The spirit was there in his splendor.  He was so happy, and he looks very confident in his opportunity to Follow Christ, his excitement was super.   After he was able to receive the Holy Ghost he just looked like he was in a happy place... I went on Exchange with two Elders this week Elder Aygei from Ghana Kumasi, and Elder Gunnell from Mesa Arizona, wow both excelent missionaries and I learned much from both of them. I love going with newer missionaries, yes they are new but they are so full of the Spirit and I love seeing it and feeling it, and to learn much needed principles. Well mission is sweet and I am loving my area, we are going to focus on a new area we havent been in yet and I am excited to see what happens, and I know God will direct us to those he has prepared to receive this great and powerful message of Gods Love for his Children.  Along with  all the happiness that he wants them to receive, That is his Work and His Glory.  Also what do you guys want me to add in more in emails or is this good or what? I want to know so I can be looking more closely in my service each day to see the hand of the Lord in it and to learn things I may be missing, than to share with you great things as well.   Well EBOLA country is sweet, actually its not bad all is well with that, all missionaries will be fine if they obey rules, thats the Key to success Obedience! Thanks guys,  I love you all and can wait to share my experiences with you next week Love Elder Erickson
