Week of Service

Hello Family and Friends,

This week was a really busy, a lot of adversity this week but with coordinating and planning with our branch, we were able to have a great day of service for the whole community,.   The turn out was amazing and to see the hand of the lord in a lot of it really made it so  much sweeter.   We cleared some thick vegetated areas and cleaned some muddy grounds and made things clean.   Then after that we had a big football competition with the missionaries in our branch as a team and the branch missionaries and members of the church and even community people, it was really good to show the community here in Logan Town what the church is about and what Jesus Christ wants us to be doing, Serving one another.   It was great to see all the puzzled faces on those people, after we came and cleaned up around their houses. So instead of a lawnmower they use machetes to cut the grass it is a lot of fun but really works your arms as well.  This week we had 8 investigators that we have been working hard with finally come to church.   This Saturday we were going to have baptisms but instead all of Africa Service day.   So we will be involved with our district cleaning around Monrovia. Thats sweet that Elder Gurr is going home this week, I know he was really excited but really sad at the same time, the People in Accra Ghana will really miss that man. Okay so yeah they give us a small amount of money to support our selves I don't want to complain about it cause its great that we have money to feed our selves though all around the world missionaries get spoiled in some ways.   I'm trying to budget money it is super hard for me though,  I try not to buy anything, but when rice doesn't fill you up and you are munchy 24/7 its difficult not to feed your self a lil bit at a time.  I know of one missionary who saves a lot of his substance but he fasts almost every other day and he doesn't look healthy.   Anyways I'm trying my best to budget with what I have. Want To send a shout out to my sissy-inlaw Kenzy Erickson Happy Birthday I hope you have a great day when it comes :) enjoy cake and ice cream for me as well!!!! ;) So transfers will be on the 24th And on the 18th i will find out what is all going on with me and Elder Osayi, STILL no Packages or Letters they will come eventually :) I know they will come as long as I am obedient. Glad to hear that Coach Raddon is coming back to wrestling, I knew he couldn't stay away from it that long ;) he will enjoy Piute a lot.   Well hunting season is coming I will really miss this time of the year at home gonna be tough, going to do my best to work hard and stay busy. Dad I know when you and Benton and Ethan will be out hunting deer I will be hunting Sons And Daughters of our God, I Love and Miss you all so much hope you all have a safe week,
