Good morning
The
week was spectacular!!!!! We accomplished our Goals and had just a
powerful week, I would say it was one of the Best weeks that I have had
on mission. Elder Zulu is doing great, he really does a great job as a
District Leader, He is helping us to become better. Love this companion,
he Helps me to become a better person in Christ. We had many people
come to church this week, the most I have had in Ghana. It was sweet and
boosted my confidence in our area, also President Holmes has given us
the whole ward area to work in, we are the only Missionaries in the
Ward. The ward is sweet and Growing small small. Seth is hopefully going
to baptize this Sunday and also another person Claret on the 22 of Feb,
Koffi is close to getting his Bride price paid for, than after that he
will be eligible for Baptism. We also had a Man who we have been
teaching very humble and like unto a Child, not child like but meek and
submissive to the will of the Father, He came to church after a powerful
lesson talking about baptism and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
Really things are sweet in our area. It hasn't been hard at all, to
continue to serve the Lord, yes I have small time, but My heart is set
upon my mission and it shows in the enthusiasm in my desire to serve the
Lord. It makes things a whole lot easier, Obedience and Diligence helps
in this whole thing, if I continue to apply these principles in my
work, it will be easier to overcome the walls that I may face in the
future. Thank you all for the Prayers, they help. Well I still feel like
I got a long time to go, Everyone says that I don't act like an old
missionary hahaha, not even the old missionaries should be tired, it all
depends where the heart is and whatever is on the inside will reflect
on the outside. Benton good luck in wrestling at state, I know if you do
your best, you will win. love you bro, looks like you are enjoying the
hills I will be there soon to help you in that matter :)...... Mom so
when I get home I want a bag of tootsie Rolls to eat on the way home
:). Love you all Have a great week.
Elder Erickson
