MERRY CHRISTMAS!

What a crazy week!   We had a Christmas Zone conference Tuesday and Wednesday, that made us a little trunky :) but we are trying our best to stay focused on the savior and his Work.  I have enjoyed the week though we had an awesome Miracle on Sunday, we went and talked Sumu, one of our investigators on Friday and talked about Christ and keeping the Sabbath day Holy.  We invited him to come to church he said if God will provide away you will see me there. the whole week we really spent a lot of time praying for Sumu and that God would make it possible for Sumu to Keep his Commandments.  On Sunday right before sacrament meeting he walked inside and sat down. Elder Backman and I like did a freak out in silence, probably looked like we had won the PGA Tour haha I was so excited to see Sumu to Church, at the end of Church my companion said you can leave if you want, he said I want to stay longer :)  Spirit throwin it down on Sunday it was great.  I will tell you the truth Elder Backman is a better missionary than I was in 12 weeks in knowledge and understanding haha and he is only at 6 weeks :) I am proud of him he is working hard and keeping his old pappi in line :) Transfers wont be until the 30th of Dec, we might get the news though at the end of this week, I am sure I will stay with Elder Backman and Finish his Training these next 6 weeks I pray and hope the lord Allows me too.  I am Glad that we all get to be together for our first Christmas, Elder Zaugg, Humpherys, Guymon, Backman, Gunell, Pearmain, my MTC together its awesome, one big family on mission.  I am healthy and strong, and things are going great. I Love the Berrets they do so much for us.  I did get a Christmas package from you guys, was it just one?  I also got Grandma and Grandpa Erickson's B-Day Package.

I cant wait to call home its on my mind constantly,  I will call home at 6:00 here that will be at 11:00 am there so just be expecting a phone call at that time :) I cant wait to talk to you all, I don't know what we will talk about but I am excited haha.   Actually I want to talk about the Miracles that happen so be ready. Dad thanks for the Email, we were talking about this the other day seeing X-Mas signs and wondering what the frick is going on. I hate how people are taking the joy out of Christmas by trying to Get Christ out of the Picture, I mean its common sense we all know the only reason we can have happiness and joy is through the Love of our Savior Jesus Christ, we take Christ out of the Picture what do we have a lot of confusion about Christmas, I hope we all remember why we have Christmas, its to celebrate the Birth of Christ, gifts are such a great thing be happy about, be happy for gifts, but be more grateful for the Gift From God, That is his only begotten son Jesus Christ, Christ tells us who ever will believe on him and pick up there own Cross and follow him will have eternal life.  I am grateful that I have been able to pick up my own cross and come on a mission and to help others come unto the one who can help them receive a fulness of joy,  that is the Lord Jesus Christ.

I know that Through my Savior and Redeemer Christ the Lord I can find happiness and Joy beyond Comprehension, I know that Christ is the only Begotten son of our Heavenly Father, who loves us all and wants us to return to his Presence, I know that Christ was Born for a soul purpose of fulfilling all righteousness, to make it possible for us to return to our Father which has given us life,  I know That This Church is CHRIST Church, and there is none other than his, his Church is the only way in which we can make our way back to our Heavenly Father, We are the only True Church, we have the Fullness of the Gospel, we have all the truth, while other only have bits and Pieces that will never fill anyones stomach looking for Spiritual and Physical Food,  I know I am a Child of God,  I know that this Christmas holiday is for My Lord, and My king, I so testify that which I have said is true and say these things in the Beautiful name of Jesus Christ Amen.  I love you all have a fantastic week,  Do good to all men,  and good will only come your way,  Love Elder Erickson
