Thanksgiving!

December 2, 2013

Hello  Friends and family
I had a great week and a hard week, many miracles at the end, the beginning was a little hard and not a whole lot happened, all of our investigators are doing fantastic.  Steven will be baptize this Saturday, I am so excited for him, I have been waiting for this day probably more than him and his desire is strong, so is his testimony of The gospel. My companion is doing well, mission is a humbling thing in life, he has endured well.  Elder Dube was great wow he pro-founded missionary work  and sacrifice.  Also for not looking back at the wicked and evil traditions of their fathers.  Really  Liberia is to the point they just got to choose God or their fathers.  I hope in 6
months we will have a stake that would be great.  I got to watch Earnest Sorseah and James Binda Receive the Melchizedek Priesthood wow that was a blessing, all the worthy men of the branches received Priesthood.  We had 1031 people at the district conference, it was incredible and historic,  Liberia is going to grow so much.  Thanksgiving was sweet we had mash potatoes and fries and gravy and chicken and bread and it was great.   It sounds like everyone had a great week as well, Good job Benton on wrestling, I'm glad Coach Raddon is doing Wrestling again thats so sweet. Benton looks great like a studmuffin haha.  Temple  lights lucky, I miss that so much.  Wow. well I do miss you guys a lot haha I'm trying to stay focused :). Glad  to hear about Grandma and Grandpa Erickson and their mission call, its not where you serve but how you serve. Well I kinda forgot what to write about lol, I love you all and hope you have a great week Love Elder Erickson

This picture was taken from the Berrets Blog,  Before our Thanksgiving feast, we made a delivery to the Logan Town apartments.  As we were getting ready to leave, several of the Elders were standing at the curb in front of their apartment building, trying to get a taxi so they could go to their areas to work for the day.  The work goes on, even on Thanksgiving.  Dedicated, hard working missionaries!
